Are electrical items tested?

All electrical items are inspected and updated where necessary with new wiring and components. They are PAT tested prior to sale. However we recommend that all buyers of vintage electrical items consider getting professional advice from a qualified electrician.

Are all of your items genuinely old?

All of our items are vintage, which means at least 20 years old. We endeavour to fully describe the origin of pieces, including maker and date of manufacture. If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us.

When will I receive my item?

If you have ordered a smaller item that can be sent using a postal delivery service we usually dispatch items the same or following day. Next day delivery is our service of choice. We will confirm when dispatched and share the tracking number with you. If you have ordered a larger item requiring delivery by a courier, we will work with you to find a suitable delivery date. 

What if my item arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive at all?

Please let us know as soon as possible of any issues and we will work with you to reach a satisfactory outcome.

Can I collect my items in person?

Yes you are welcome to collect by arrangement, or to organise your own courier. We are based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, UK.

Do you ship worldwide?

We are happy to deliver anywhere in the world, as long as local import rules allow. Any customs duties are the buyer's responsibility. Please contact us to obtain a quote for delivery.

Can you restore an item I already own?

We are happy to consider any restoration project - please send details of the item via our contact form and we will be in touch to discuss your requirements.

How will you package my item?

Smaller items are wrapped carefully in protective material such as bubble wrap and securely packaged in strong cardboard boxes, marked 'fragile'. We use recycled materials where possible to avoid unnecessary landfill and encourage you to reuse or recycle the packaging when it arrives. Larger items such as furniture are usually collected by courier and transported in a van or car.

Can I request additional photos or videos?

Yes we are happy to provide additional information, photos or videos - just get in touch via our contact page and we will do our best to answer all of your questions.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes we are happy to cancel your order as long as you contact us before we have dispatched the item. If it is already on its way to you then you will have to return it for a refund (see below).

Can I return an item?

Yes we gladly accept returns, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for paying for return postage or delivery, and for any damage or loss incurred. The item must be returned within 14 days of delivery.

Can you source items for me?

Our stock is changing all the time, and we often sell unique pieces that are hard to find elsewhere. However if you are looking for a particular item or style, please do contact us as we are happy to look out for items for you, and may even have one awaiting restoration!

Can you gift wrap items for me?

We are happy to gift wrap items upon request; please contact us to discuss your requirements.
