Made in the 1960s with a teak finish and sliding doors, this stylish sideboard is exceptionally well made. With its tapered legs, and its scalloped drawer handles, its design is influenced by the popular Danish, mid century modern style. It has a rich teak colour and beautiful grain. It's a great size for rooms that would be dominated by a larger sideboard, whilst still offering plenty of storage.
The upper section is divided in 2, with a shelf in the right half and a cutlery drawer in the left. This slides out and has a handle so that it can be carried to the table as a cutlery tray. Underneath are two drawers with dovetail joints. The solid teak legs have adjustable brass feet to compensate for uneven hard floors.
The cabinet is in very good vintage condition with some signs of use, including some colour variation on the top surface. It has been gently restored - cleaned, oiled and finished with a protective wax finish. Please examine all pictures and feel free to ask any questions.
