A fabulous 1950s/60s mid century shag pile wool rug or throw, in very good condition. The background colour is mainly brown with black and maroon flecks, with a retro geometric pattern in muted shades of red. 
 
This knotted vintage rug has a 1" pile. Unfortunately it's lost its label, (although traces of it remain), but is believed to be a wool mix. As it doesn't have a backing it's very soft and could also be used as a throw or blanket. Measuring 74cm by 132cm, it makes a fantastic accent rug to bring a dash of mid century colour and style to your room.
 
The rug has no marks, holes or thin patches, although it is in used condition.  It smells clean and fresh and has been washed on a cool, wool cycle. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions.
