A very handsome sideboard from the 1950s, by UK manufacturer Scully Furniture. The cupboard fronts have an attractive checkered pattern created by the striped veneer of the sapele wood. The unit is trimmed with brass strip, has tapered black legs, and black and brass handles. It has a cupboard on each side, the left with an internal shelf, and a central drinks cabinet with 2 internal glass shelves and formica door, for drinks preparation. There are 4 drawers.
The sideboard has been stripped and refinished with oil and protective wax. It's in very good vintage condition with minor signs of its age and use. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
